A brand born out of the desperate need to save our planet. The Amazon is the worlds largest rainforest and is a staple of why we need to act now. Unbelievably, more than 200,000 acres of rainforest are burned every day. That is more than 150 acres lost every minute of every day, and 78 million acres lost every year! More than 20 percent of the Amazon rainforest is already gone, and much more is severely threatened as the destruction continues.

Inspired by this Amazonia brings a part of the jungle to the heart of the city. It’s coffee is sourced from the Amazon through sustainable and ethical means, whilst helping to replant many of the trees that have been lost to deforestation.

The brief was to capture the essence of the amazon and bring it to the heart of London. However it’s sustainable mission doesn’t compromise the luxurious design.

Drawn from the rainforest’s natural beauty, Amazonia’s store is an immersive environment. Featuring skylights and open spaces, encompassed by a jungle of vegetation. When you walk through Amazonia’s doors, you’re not just walking into a cafe, you’re being transported into the Amazon. This acts as a living and breathing reminder to the customer, of the pledge by the brand to the planet. Creating a connection to the issue, so that customers don’t feel distanced from something happening on the other side of the world that they could quite easily ignore.

The packaging acts as an extension of this environment.
