TownHouse is a contemporary bar that boasts 3 floors and a sky garden. Taking over from the previous owners (The Potting Shed), they set out to reinvent the venue and turn the bar into a thriving part of the community. TownHouse has three floors, each aimed at a different demographic – from casual brunch to evening drinks to live DJ events – so it was paramount that their website reflected this.
Having just designed their new brand, we were in the perfect position to create their new online platform. We created a website that was all about energy, fun and colour, reflecting the bustling atmosphere of the venue. Mobile and desktop optimised, we showcased all the exciting new features the venue has to offer, including their menu, drinks, events and different spaces. A combination of textures, quirky titles, floating animation and lifestyle photography really brought the users experience to life.
Normally when you design a website or brand you have a specific target audience in mind. Here we had the challenge of the brand being inclusive of all age ranges. As you can imagine, each age range has very different tastes, but one thing they do have in common is there love of food and drinks! We put our heads together and similar to how we designed different branding for each floor, we tailored each page to their specific audience, whilst retaining an overall brand consistency.
