And 50% of surveyed managers say they wouldn’t employ them because of it.
That is why this mission matters. Of the 34 million working adults in the UK right now over 900 thousand are neurodivergent and will struggle to access employment because of bullshit like this.
We wanted to face this head-on.
So when starting 21 Degrees Digital we aimed to create a company that is as accepting and inclusive as possible. One that supports those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, mental health disorders, and neurological conditions. By opening our minds and changing our ways of working we have access to the most under appreciated talent pool out there and are growing in leaps and bounds because of it.


The underrepresentation of the BAME community in the digital sector is another issue close to our hearts. Only 6% of the BAME community are represented in the advertising industry, yet here at 21 Degrees Digital, 20% of our team are from BAME backgrounds, including two of our directors.
We know we’ve still got a way to go, (we don’t have any women representation on our director team for example) but we are working to be better every day.
